Ive been doing it on and off since my childhood, but really started getting into it within the past 2 years. I tried knitting, but it hurts my hands too much. I use a crochet hook on my dreadlocks tho, to pull through loose hairs and tighten then up

Because all they are really good for is holding a hot plate/bowl that you are eating out of.

I saw a pattern called "african flower mandala". The pink ones are my first attempt at them (before I got frustrated and said fuck it) and the blue ones are the actual pattern.

And last but not least - my beanies! The pink one is mine, and the blue one is hubby's.

There is a really cool lady on youtube that has a tutorial for virtually everything. Its really very easy, just repetition. Practice makes perfect!
