So, I totally tried to not give in to the "hype" of it all. But, I read the books. And they were AMAZING!!!!! Anyone else read them? Which was your favorite? My favorite was Catching Fire! I loved the arena! So darn awesome!!!!

OMG, I read Hunger Games two years ago when I got the book for Christmas. After that first book I was HOOKED! I just couldn't stop! I insisted on my book club reading them and they were resistant at first. Next thing I know EVERYONE in the book club was borrowing each other's copies of the next book.. then the next one. haha.
They were SO well written, the characters draw you in. So much detail, and such emotion in the writing.
This series is by far one of my absolute Favorite! Aside all the hype. I say they deserve all the hype. lol

Yesssss... I just knew there had to be a hunger games thread in here somewhere! I just finished catching fire and am itching to start mockingjay. I am not a fast reader at all...it takes me forever to get through a book, but these ones I've gotten through in just days. I'm in love with the story and the concept and ahhhh I just love it so much!!!! Haha

Oh you HAVE to read Mockingjay! I find there are quite a few series that have one or two in the series that kinda are eeehh allright. Like Eclipse in the Twilight series. NOT with Hunger Games. EVERY book is just Amazing. You yearn for more! It ends really well, I know you are going to love it.
Hey, doesn't matter how quick you read, so long as you get there. I have Reading A.D.D, I can't read just one book at a time. So it takes me some time to get through books as well.

I just started Reading Mockingjay yesterday. Love it so far, I'm only a couple chapters in so far. Man, I just love these books, I'm already thinking about rereading them once I'm done just in case I missed anything. Lol.

After seeing the movie i am rereading the series haha i am already on Mockingjay! haha Catching Fire is my favorite book, though. Mockingjay is just SO sad.
